The Raven Wooden Rollercoaster
Roller coaster enthusiasts from around the world still love The Raven, voting it the #7 Wooden Coaster on the Planet in 2007!

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, "Santa's beard was probably black before he rode The Raven."

The RavenThe Raven has delighted and thrilled riders since it opened in 1995. The traditional wooden coaster didn't break any height, length or speed records, yet it was named a favorite from its first season. In fact, The Raven was named the #1 Wooden Coaster on the Planet from the year 2000 through 2003 and has remained a Top 10 coaster ever since.

There's nowhere to stand in Holiday World to get a feel for the layout, because nearly the entire ride is hidden in the woods. There's a 120-foot tunnel, 85-foot and 61-foot drops, swooping turn over Lake Rudolph, and a double-banked curve at bottom of the fifth hill. And after experiencing The Raven in the dark, you'll want to ride it "Evermore!"
